Every second Friday we have a Full School Assembly.

This week it was hosted by Rooms 2 and Rooms 18.
Filia, Isla, Carter and Luka were our wonderful hosts.
They did a fantastic job ensuring the assembly ran smoothly.

Henry and Rhys were the IT experts at the back of the hall.

Skyla, Tui and Bella told us about the  Futsal tournament some girls went to this week. Redwood School won all their games! Well done!

Room 2 and Room 18 are buddy classes.

Together they made a korowai.
Katherine told us that a korowai is a cloak that leaders and chiefs wear.
It protects us, shelters us and keeps us warm.

Ki te kotahi te kakaho ka whati, ki te kapuia, e kore e whati!
A single strand of kakoho breaks easily, not so a branch.
