Forts in Room 2

I made my fort but the big stick kept on falling down so my mum had to hold it the whole time while I was playing. That was my problem. I was thinking I could put another table on top but all the other tables were used up so I stuck to the table I was at. Charlotte was under the table and I was on top of the table.

Me and Zach played in the fort with the logs and made a big tower. I made a fort out of blankets and pegs and me and Zach played in it. Me and Zach loved playing in it with the lego.

I made a blanket fort by using tables, some blankets and some pegs. We had some parents help out too. We put a table on its side and out blankets over it and pegged some blankets together and made a roof for the fort.

School Assembly

It was great to see parents at our assembly today hosted by Rooms 13 and 20.

Room 1 won the 'Best Class' award at that last assembly and they were allowed to sit on the seats at the back of the hall.

Assembly was presented by Kayla, Chase, Amo and Sione.

The technical assistants were Tui, Calla and Hayden.

We loved "There's a Dragon in My Wagon" and it was great to see Mrs Hughes draggin' her dragon tail in her wagon!

Congratulations to Olive for winning a Nationwide Colouring Competition.

Some Room 18 students shared their Inquiry about Cause and Effect. They told us about how they are trapping pests in our school environment and their next project is to get rid of weeds in the school grounds. Thanks Katherine, Isla and Palak.

And congratulations to Room 4 for winning the 'Best Class"!
